koi carp

ive just bought a koi carp today and i have just been out and it is floatin upside down however it is still breathing can u please tell me if they is anything that i can do or is it dying many thanks alan

I need answers to a few questions.  Do you have other fish in the pond?  Do you regularly treat them for parasites? Did you quarantine the fish before you put him in the pond?  Did you declorinate the water before you put the fish in?  Is it a new pond or an existing pond.  

If you answered yes to these questions, then you probably got a sick fish and there's probably not much you can do.
