Goldfish pond in the winter

Question
This is my first pond. I am planning on using a Rubbermaid simulated pond in my basement starting soon to keep my fish from dying - suggested to someone else on this site. Outdoor pond is only 100 gallons and 18" deep with 5 2-3 inch goldfish in it.  Should I run a pump in it to aerate the water?  Can I put the plants in my basement pond?  Should I reuse some of the existing pond water to help smooth the transition?  How much should I feed them in a situation like this?  Thanks for all of your help.

Answer
Hello John!
You must run that little indoor pond basically like the outdoor pond.
It needs a pump and filter. The plants will help and feeding should be kept to a minimum.
You are right, you should use some of the water from the existing pond to get the beneficial bacteria colony going.
