Goldfish Pond

Question
I want to build a Goldfish pond, but i want to know how deep and big is it supposed to be. I'm more of a person that keeps fish in an aquarium but my fish are growing a lot and its going to crowd my 80g. I have 8 comet goldfish, some are the common ones. They aren't that big on the width, but the length is 6 inches. When i build the pond, i know that i will need a pond liner, pond skimmer, waterfall filter, pumper, pond underlayment, and fish. Should i follow this link: http://watergarden.com/pages/build_wg.html

Answer
Hi Jimmy,

Thank you for your question.
I'm impressed with the good "research". It is very important to think things over before you start digging the pond. Otherwise its often more digging A grave ;-# for your fish.
I Know the website and as in general it is A good advice. Mostly people want to personalize their pond and if you want to do so also, please contact me again if you have more questions.
However: good start!

Good luck and happy pondkeeping.

PS the depth is also depending on the area where you live #the colder the deeper, the warmer the deeper...#

Kind regards,
Raf
