Question
Sorry for such a silly question, but are shebunkins egg bearing (in plant roots) or live bearing?   And goldfish, too....I have 3 shebunks and four goldfish in a 250gal. outdoor pond, and have noticed babies (4 in all), and am nervous about thinning out the hyacinths.   Thanks!

Answer
All goldfish (sorry if there are any exceptions that I am overlooking) lay eggs to reproduce.  There are some North American pond fish that are live-bearers.  Eggs will survive being moved around, but I guess that you don't want to accidentally kill them.

I personally would avoid gaining any more fish, as your pond's size may not be adequate for more than 11 fish.
