Pond vacum

Can you tell me how often I should use the pond vacum to clean
the bottom of my pond it is a very small pond with three gold
fish in?It is netted to keep out falling leaves etc.

This is somehow hard to tell exact.
It depends on the amount of debris and the filtration.
Normally a pond needs a good filter that also contains a primary filter that extract the debris out of the water.
The second and further filterchamers make sure the bacteria can process the dissolved debris.
Personally I think once a week or twice a week in the summer and autumn is sufficient and make sure the pond go's clean in to the winter.
