Aquatic plant problem

Hi Ron. I have a very new tropical tank. It's about 16 liters so also small. I have treated and conditioned as instructed by the retailer, who really seemed to know his stuff. he was reluctant to let me have any fish 2 days after setting up but suggested a couple that were quite cheep and hardy. The fish seem fine 4 days on but I've noticed a white fine hair like , strand like substance radiating from the leaves of one of the plants. I think it is a sword plant. Long stems, long elliptically leaves, mid green. Do you know what it might be and if it is of any concern to the fish? Thanks, Felicity

  I am not quite sure what that white strand is, but I can't imagine that it is anything harmful. If you want, you can send me a photo to the address below.
