Is avocado poisonous to horses?

Thanks for your question.  

Extensive testing has revealed that advocado seed/ seed case/bark/leaves and wood is poisonous to just about all animals.  There is nothing to say the fruit (the pulp inside)is poisonous, but I wouldn't chance it.

There are pretty serious warnings to make sure advocado trees are nowhere near livestock who might accidently consume them.  It only takes a VERY small amount to cause tremendous damage to all livestock (and I would extend that to animals and birds in general).
