dry fresh wheat straw getting decayed soon

hello, in india, temperature touches 40 degrees in summer. lets suppose i bought 50kgs fresh dry wheat straw bundle today. then within how many days does it get decayed even though i kept them unused and covered them with tarpaulin covers?

Hi Rohit,

Thank you for your question.  I apologize for taking so long in getting back to you.  If the wheat straw is truly dry, then it should keep indefinitely if it is not rained on.  However, if the straw is baled fresh then it will heat and go bad within days.  You did use the term 'fresh dry' so I'm not entirely sure which yours is.  But anything baled (bundled) with moisture will spoil quickly, especially in the heat.
