equine hemorrhoids

It looks as though my mare may have a hemorrhoid (a protrusion with swelling) and I was wondering if you may have a suggestion for treatment.

Hi Karen,

Thank you for your question, but I'm afraid this is outside my area of expertise.  I would suggest that you have your local veterinarian take a look at your horse, as horses don't generally suffer from hemorrhoids and what you see could be a more serious condition.
