Question
hello Lyn. trotting a horse bareback, should or shouldn't i post?

Answer
Rohit,

This is one of those it cases that depend a lot upon the speed at which you want to trot and the gait of the horse you are riding.  Many horses are very comfortable to ride sitting at a slow trot/jog.  Darned near impossible to sit at a good, fast trot.  Yes, posting is possible riding bareback but takes an enormous amount of leg strength and good balance to do for any length of time. But a skill well worth developing because it will give you much better balance and body control when you ride.
