My sons box turtle laid eggs?

Question
Hi,
My son and I found a box turtle crossing a major hi-way a little over a month ago, she was almost splattered.  I went on the Internet and found out how to care for a box turtle.  Turtle is doing great but we found eggs in her log cave today. I guess she was pregnant when we found her. I tried going on the Internet to search but found nothing on finding eggs not knowing the turtle was pregnant and what to do.  Should i move the eggs, or leave them where she put them? Any special things need to be done?  right now the eggs are with my turtle getting about 12 hours of heat and light. I am clueless.  I was trying to save a turtle and ended up with a turtle and eggs. I want to try to get the eggs to hatch if possible. Thanks for your help.

Answer
They are likely infertile, but it is worth a try!

Basically, make an incubator- a box or something that can stay  very humid and at a very constant 82 degrees F, then park the eggs in it for a few months, checking them daily.

The actual incubator can be most anything that can be kept warm. A plastic cooler with a few inches of a sand and vermiculite mix (for support and moisture) and a small heater or bulb inside it. The tricky part is coming up with a heat regulator.
