lack of protien

Question
I have had my suggie only 4 days, she will not eat protien for me. I have scrambled eggs, gotten high protien pellets, baked chicken in some apple juice....doesnt touch it. She does love her Ledbetters Diet frozen BML and eats it everyday, however sometimes she spits out some of the itty bitty chunks in it. My question is, how do I get her to eat more protien or is just giving her more BML okay? She loves her fresh fruit but I know she is not balanced. She had regular stools until today one of them was lighter in color and a bit runnier. She is bonding with us wonderfully and loves to sleep on us.
Thanks for the help,
Jennifer

Answer
I believe an good ledbeaters / BML diet is sufficient..

I feed my gliders ledbeaters nightly.. with added veggies and or other fruits about 3 nights a week.. meal worms only on occasion as a treat.. mine also enjoy cottage cheese, yogurt, some breakfast cereals, almonds, sweet potatoes.. again all on occasion.. so the ledbeaters should have the right amount of calcium and protein she needs.. remember you don't want to over do it..

as far as her spitting out tiny chunks.. I puree mine and there are no little chunks.. 100% liquified.. so my advice would be to blend a little better.. ;)

hope this helps
