hi.i just got  rabbit that someone had ofund in their backyard.it fits in the palm of my hand and barely opens its eyes.right now im trying to feed to formula but it doesnt seem very interested.I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO.HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Answer -
Dear Taylor,

This is most likely a wild cottontail, and it should be put back in its nest, if at all possible.  For instructions on what to do for a wild baby rabbit you've found, please read:

I hope that helps!

Answer
Dear Taylor,

You didn't say this was an orphaned rabbit.  You said someone had found it in their back yard, which is why I assumed it was a wild cottontail (very common this time of year).  If you are *sure* the baby is domestic, then this will help:

You need to give me more detail about the leg problem, but if the legs are splayed out to the side, this will help:

Again, find a good rabbit vet here:

to help you with all this.  For more information on rabbit care, please visit:

Good luck!
