Swelling & Redness after neuter

Dear Sandra--
      I am back and asking again. First, thank for referring me to the exotic vet in Vacaville,Ca. Second--Briefly, I have adopted 3 littermates, who were neutered very shortly before I received them.It has been about 4 weeks post-op. Now one of the boys is swelling and red in his right scrotal sack area. I've read different things on-line saying to just watch and should clear up on its own. Others say to seek medical care. I want to do whats right but don't have unlimited resources. What is right in this situation? He seems fine otherwise but I notice he seems to feel sore...favoring the area a bit. Still active and eating and stealing from his brothers tho!. Thsnks again for your time!

This may be an abscess and absolutely requires medical attention pronto! Its not unheard of for this to occur after neutering and usually occurs a few weeks post op. I wouldnt monkey around with this and get him to the vet today. DO NOT let them tell you to come in any other day, insist he is seen today.
