Maroon Bellied Conures Screeching

Question
I've had my Baby Girl for over 2 years now and I just love her to death but recently she has taken to screeching louder and more frequently than usual.  In particular when water is running or the TV or radio is too loud.  I'm finding it harder and harder to enjoy a good song or movie and I can't do dishes without her screeching uncontrollably.  We live in an apartment so there's not a lot of places I can put her cage to reduce the noise and the fact that it's an apartment makes the screeching just echo through the whole place!  She wasn't this bad up until about a couple months ago.  I can't think of anything that could have happened or anything that may have changed in her surroundings or what we do around her to make her do this and I'm at a point where it's so loud and so frequent that I don't know if I can keep her much longer.  I'd hate to give her up but I don't know what to do!  Is there any way of training a maroon bellied conure to stop or reduce the screeching??????  Please tell me there is!!!!!!!!

Answer
This is unusual for the bird to start like this when there was know history of it. There is more than likely something in the house that has changed, it may even be so little that you don't remember. I want to refer you to an online bird forum that is wonderful! There are many people there that can answer your questions, as they have experienced this very problem.
