orphan wild baby mouse

Question
My boyfriend brought home a baby mouse this afternoon. He works on a ski resort cutting the trails in the summer, he thinks he may have killed the mom by accident because he only found one baby so he covered it in leaves to see if its mom came back for it and it never did so he brought it to me. I've never cared for a baby mouse before and I really want this little guy to live. I got some baby formula called enfamil because it was the only thing I could get. He does eat but not very much at all. His eyes aren't open yet but his ears are pretty developed. He has also pooped once but I'm worried hes dehydrated. So my questions are these: what can I do to help him get hydrated?        honestly as much information I can get on the subject from somebody who knows what they're talking about would help out a lot! so please help I don't want him to die!

Answer
Dear Elyn,

This happens pretty often, so I can give you a link to the same question and answer from earlier:

Your mouse is around 11 days old; you will know later when it opens its eyes at day 14.  It should become hydrated with the formula.  I recommend trying to find the kitten milk.

If you have any more questions please feel free to ask.  Best of luck to the little guy!
