Dear Miss natasha mice mouse,

I need your help!, I just notice everytime i pass by to their cages and my four mouse see's me they starts to vibrate non-stop then when i leave they stop vibrating?! Is this bad for their healths? also when i hold out my hand they will run to it and vibrate more. Im so worried about them :((

Answer
Dear Divine,

If you are holding a mouse and she vibrates, it means she is very happy. It is unusual to see visible vibration but as long as there is no constant chatter at the same time, indicating a respiratory infection, I would just figure they are unusually expressive mice, and very happy. However, if there is any change in behavior, or the mouse feels the least bit cool to the touch, or a mouse or mice get noisy, or it continues when the mouse is not interacting with you,  she might be sick- could be shivering.  But it is unlikely that all four would have exactly the same symptoms.

My advice is don't worry. I think you probably have very happy mice. Just watch for any symptoms of illness just in case.

Squeaks,

Natasha
