Question
18 wks old,got them at 10wks. So far they sit, stay,go into crate, not much else. Is training them together a no hoper? We got halti/gentle leaders to stop them pulling. One jumps up more than the other, Ruby and Millie is shy and loves belly strokes. They play fight together but will not retrieve or come when they are off lead in the park except if in the mood!  Help please.  Beginning to wish I had just got one like my son whose same litter bitch loves fetching and playing

Answer
The problem with trying to raise two littermates, or even two similar-aged puppies, at the same time is that they become more bonded and focused on each other, rather than on you. It's best to keep them separated, with short, supervised playtimes with each other once or twice a day, until they are trained.

I do not like head halters, but if you are having good results with them, that's fine. You cannot use them for training, though.
