mating my yorkie

Well, this lady and I would like to mate our yorkies.  Her yorkies name is Ginger (shes 5), and my yorkies name is Jagermeister hes (1 1/2).  I would like to know if Ginger is too old to mate?  She has never mated before.  And I would like to know if it is okay to mate these two.  Jagermeister is about 3.5 lbs and Ginger is about 5 lbs.  I just really wanted to make sure that the dam isn't too old and that the sir can mate right now?

No, Yes, and yes.  Just kidding with you.  No Ginger is not too old to mate.  However, if she has never mated before she may not be as receptive as one that has.  The male is over one year of age so it is ok for him to mate as well.  Keep in mind that they may need help.  Hopefully they won't and will just be able to do it on their own.  Good Luck.
