Aging Shelties

I have a young sheltie who is 16 years old, Fred was born on Feb. 4, 1988.  He is the oldest living Sheltie? I don't know, but he runs around like a youngster.  By the way we live in Florida.  I think he has many years left in his frolicking life. Holly

Amazing!  I have not heard of a spry Sheltie at 16!  I'll post it on some of my groups and see if anyone else has heard of that long of a life.  Most are at their max at 14-16 and the health is failing.  You should feel great that you have had that kind of success.

What does he eat?  What is his daily routine? I want to know!

Do you have his lineage?  I'd like to know that too!
