QuestionLast year me and my familly bought a border collie runt from a place in Wales. Now a year old, we really would like to breed her some time in her life, but were wondering if she would be too small, as she was the runt.

I can only answer this question from a general standpoint, however; as a note of encouragement, I have seen quite a few slow developers of a litter mature and have fantastic litters of puppies. I suggest you take your pup to a veterinarian for a complete physical and reproductive appraisal. That way you will know if your girl is developed enough to carry a litter of puppies and get her checked out medically before going ahead with breeding her.
