Question
I have a 9 month old border collie male (entire), he will come on  recall every time at home and used to at the dog park up until about 1 month ago when he stopped listening to me at the dog park, I use food everytime and try to sound exciting I have tried running in the other direction, but he will not focus on me, please advise how to fix this. Also in the last couple of weeks he has started to show signs of aggression towards other dogs, whether at the dog park (off lead) or at the park on lead when other dogs approach him (that are off lead), some people tell me its an age thing, others say he needs to be neutered, please advise your opinion.  I have attended dog training with him since he was 8 weeks old, my last course finished about 6 weeks ago.

Kind regards
Leeanne

Answer
well i think that its  unnatural for this to happen because border collies are one of the smartest obeying dogs. i am also struggling
with disobedience efforts with my dog. she is taking off every day and not retrieving till 2 days later so i`m trying to teach her.i would consider it as age wise and hope he grows out of it! good luck;).
