loose stools in 9 week old puppy

we have had our 9 week old puppy for 1 week now and his stools are very wet and runny.  He only goes after he eats.  I took him to the vet for his shots and checkup and she told me to give him chicken & rice.  I've been feeding this to him for 2 days now also putting some of his dry food in it.  It is still loose.  any suggestions.

A good vet would have found some causes of loose stools.  Don't know where you are, but we are having a lot of problems around here.  My daughter is just finishing a course with her puppy.  Several other puppies that were together last month had loose stools.  

The boiled chicken or hamburger and rice is a standard technique for settling a puppy's bowels.  Give it a few more days.
