bulldog

Question
after an year my 1 yr old english bulldog wants to fight my 8yr german  shorthair, I had a dachund also but the bulldog would attack him for no reason so I found a home for the dachuand  The german shorthair has been good about the bulldog pestering until this past weekend and there was a big fight that I broke up  Is this jealousy?  can it be corrected or should I find a one pet only for my bulldog?

are both dogs males? Are they neutered? Your bulldog is reaching social maturity, and chances are, if he is dog aggressive, he will become more so in the coming year. Bulldogs can be other-dog aggressive. Especially same sex. My suggestion to you would be to find a good trainer or behaviorist in your area who can come observe the dogs and see if there is something going on that you are missing, which could be remedied, or if a one-dog home would be best for the bulldog. I can't "see" your dogs over the internet, and in situations like this, guessing without enough information can get a dog hurt. Until you can get help, I'd keep the dogs separated.
