behavioral question about new bulldog

I recently purchased a 3 year old spayed female english bulldog, she has been great, no real behavioral issues except everytime I pet her or she comes to me she tries to mount me, she will even start making those movements as she is walking towards me.  The strange thing is she never does this to my wife or children.  Any ideas?

Hypersexual behavior is rarely sexual expression. It is either stress (most likely) or learned (as in "I did this and everyone made a big deal about it so I'll do it again"). Try getting her to sit, if she can do it without physical contact. And reduce the stress of being the new girl in town, by maybe waiting a bit before you greet her. In time, it should lessen.
