miniatura schnauzers

We have a 4 yr old female miniature schnauzer who is kind and loving to people and people adore her. Her only problem is that she barks a lot and always barks and fights other dogs.  We are planning on buying another miniature schnauzer female puppy but are concerned that she won't accept her very well or that she will be depressed.  How can we avoid this and make the encounter more pleasant for everyone?

Answer
I would resolve/curtail her reactivity to other dogs before I would consider another dog in home. Otherwise what will more than likely happen is that you will have two with the same problem and the younger one being more reactive than the first.
