dogs penis showing

my puppy is 9 weeks old and this week I've noticed his penis showing allot. he's not doing anything else that's unusual.  can you tell me why he might be doing this??

This is fairly normal for male dogs; it happens more with some dogs than others.  At his age, it probably just means he's relaxed.  As the dog gets older, it may also happen when they become sexually excited.

Neutering the dog often eliminates a lot of it.
