kitten biting on our faces

Question
Hi, i have a 13-14 week old kitten, MOE, and a 9 year old cat named Phebe. One female, one male, both fixed declawed, both siamese. Is it completely normal for Moe to chase the older cat around the house and try to jump on her? and the older cat hates it, still hissing growling swatting, still fangs too when she hisses at him! im afraid him chasing her is going to make her not like him EVER!!! what can i do? or should i leave it and let them handle it?? WE have had Moe for 5 weeks now. And Phebe is fine around him, its only when he chases and tries to jump on her and if he gets "too close" to her. Second, Moe is super affectionate, a cuddler and super cute! But, he is super hyper at times,. sometimes i think he maybe a litte crazy. when he is running around the house and jumping on furniture at Mach 3 he is making these gremlin noises and his eyes will get dialated, is this normal kitten behavior? When he is super hyper which about half the time he starts biting us if we pick him up or come and jump on us he will get at our faces! our cheeks, ears, nose, my hair!! not hard but its not acceptable and i do not want a cat that is still biting as an adult! Help us!!! thank you

Answer
Rebecca,

Most older cats do not like kittens. They usually have too much energy for them and they don't like their smells.

It sounds like your kitten is bored and needs a friend his own age to play with and rough house with. Instead he's taking out his energy on her which she hates.

I would re-home him, get him a friend, or put up with it until the kitten 'grows up'  and settles down (which wouldn't be fair to the kitten).
