Building a waterfall into my pond

Last spring I dug out a little pond, with a liner and pump.  It is right below a steep little hillside.  I think it would be nice to build a waterfall into the hillside to go into the pond.  I am doing this myself with a little help from my husband and son, but they do not understand my fascination with this.  I am a homemaker, and mother of five.  Anyway...do I use cement, rocks, a plastic liner?  I would like to keep it as natural as possible.  I have some rocks and plants on the hillside.  What kind of pump would I need that would have enough force?  The bank is about 4-5 feet high, and pretty steep on the upper end.  What other kind of info do you need to help me?

Laura, I would think a pump somewhere in the 1500 GPH range would be sufficient to supply this waterfall. Don't worry about them they will become involved soon enough. Mommy you deserve this for yourself. For additional help only you know what you want, just remember you will always want to change something.
