Question
i have fishes that are very active.and i want to now how they sleep or do they sleep.i am always wondering about it.please give me a good answer.

Answer
Hi Selma,
Thanx for your question.  Yes, fish sleep.  You may notice periods of inactivity amongst your fish when they hide by a rock or in plants and they remain relatively still.  They are probably sleeping.  Fish cannot shut their eyes so they don't look like they're sleeping.  Some fish only sleep at night, others are nocturnal (most active at night) and slow down during the day.  I hope this helps.
