hi,i have a small pet parekeet whenever i put my hand in its
cage it flies away how can finger train it

Answer
Place your hand in the cage and just set it there several times a day for a week or so. Do not attempt to touch him just let him get used to putting your hand in the cage. Give him treats from your hand such as millet and fruits and veggies he likes. Training birds is all about trust, let them know that there is no reason to fear you.
