Question
hello ma'am, thanks for all your answers. here is the new question.
in general, are thoroughbred ridglings(rigs) good racers irrespective of their pedigree and confirmation? would you like to geld all the rigs to stay healthy? i heard that they stay in frustration all the time as one or both of their testicles haven't dropped down.

Answer
Rohit,

I really am not sure about the answer to that question, I am sorry to say. I imagine that the trainers right at your race track may have a better idea.

I do know that one of the more difficult horses that I ever worked with was risling. He was very difficult around mares, more so than any stallion I ever worked with, and he also had
several resistances when I was training him. At one time he would even throw himself down on purpose to cause me to stop training him. I am always careful never to push a horse, so I do believe it really was  a resistant behavior.

His owners decided to take him to Cornell (a Vet. school) and have him operated on internally to remove any residual tissue from the unsuccessful first gelding procedure.
