tips on gate training a racehorse

hello madam. for a trainer to enter his stable horses in a race, gate training is very important. can you please give me some tips on how many times a day & how safely to gate train a racehorse???

once or twice everyday. first let the horse smell it and just walk through a few times. next have them stand in it and get used to it a few times.  then walk them in and have them stand with the gate closed in from open the gate and have them walk out. next standing in the gate with the front close then when it opens have them trot out next will be canter out. once they are good with this put them in their and close both the front and back when it opens have them walk out. then repeat with trotting and cantering. when the horse is completely comfortable have them gallop out. remember to be patient and take your time. this will be over the course of a month so do not rush it.
