Thanks for your question. Schooling is not needed to start training a horse. You will want to learn training techniques and get familiar with horse behavior and have to respond when the horse gives a negative response.

You can pick a lot of training tip up at horse training clinics, videos, books, or asking a confident horse man a few questions. Taking lessons are also another great way to learn.
