Question
can rabbits living in the same house but different cages get along?

Answer
Hi Taylor

If they are always in their cages or have separate play time then you never have to worry about them fighting.  If you just let them both roam free at times without being neutered/spayed and properly bonded then it is impossible.

What I would do is keep them both in their own section of the house or I would have them fixed and bond them.  There is no rule that says rabbits can't have their own space.  It is really up to you what you want to do but you have to be really careful.  If they aren't fixed and one is a boy and one is a girl you will end up with babies.  If they are both boys and aren't neutered and bonded they can seriously injury each other.  Girls that are not fixed have a better chance of being bonded but it really isn't a good idea.  When they are hormonal they can fight also.

I am attaching a site about how to bond your bunnies.  Please read through it and it will explain everything.

Thank you and good luck with your friends.

Pam
