Blocked intestine?

My rat got a hold of my makeup sponge and chewed quite a larger amount off of it. I can't find any pieces so I assume he ate it, he also has a lump on his abdominal area. He is still eating a drinking...can this be a blocked intestine? I'm not able to take him to the vet...
Is there anything I can do?
Please help =(

Hmmm... since he ate it I would try to give him a piece of strawberry to help him pass it through. Also, unless the lump was there before he ate it, it is possible that it could be a tumor if it is a hard lump. If it's a soft lump it could just be some type of sore or something.
