Rat with foreleg paralysis

Question
I have two female hairless rats who are the best pets I've ever owned.  Unfortunately, Rose has developed a progressive foreleg paralysis over the last three days.  She doesn't seem to be in pain and is still drinking water; however, the only food she wants today is little bites of her yogurt drops.  Pituitary tumors seem to fit the symptoms.  Do you agree?  I understand that there is not much the vet can do and I'll probably have to put her to sleep.  Thank you for any help you can give me.

Answer
Well.. could be tumors.. could be a nerve injury or a fracture preventing her from using it. Also could be nasty arthritis. I'd hate to see you put her down if it wasn't the worst case scenario, ya know? But honestly, I'm no vet, so I couldn't give you my 100% agreement.
