Milk for baby mice

Question
I rescued 2 baby wild mice. their eyes are not open yet but they have some fur. What "milk" can I give them and how?

Answer
Dear Llona,

Baby mice should be nursed with kitten milk replacement.  You can use an eyedropper or a small paintbrush.  After feeding, you should very gently rub their abdomens with a Q-tip to help the eliminate.  Feed them every 2-3 hours around the clock.  Their mom feeds them every half hour.

It's hard to replace a mommy mouse, so don't blame yourself if it doesn't work out.  Thank you for rescuing them.
