QuestionMy female mouse is raising a litter and has gotten pregnant again by a wild mouse down in the basement, should i take the babies (they have fur and their eyes are about to open) and feed them myself so she can prepare for the next litter, or leave them alone?
AnswerDear Tommy,
You don't need to do anything. It's natural for a mouse to become pregnant even immediately after birth. However, you will need to take the males out when they are about 4 weeks old, to avoid more mating.
