Questionour ferret has a open sore on its back. it is smaller than a dime. has a small black spot. light bleeding. might be from a dog nip not sure. what can we do for her? we love her alot.

Open wounds or sores need to be treated by your veterinarian. Even a small puncture can quickly become infected and form an abscess (deep pockets of pus under the skin). If left untreated, they can become very serious. Any infection needs to be flushed and antibiotics to help prevent any further problems.
Please have her taken to your vet ASAP to have him take a look. At the very least, she needs it cleaned and medication to help with the infection. At the worst, she would need to be sedated, any dead tissue trimmed away, and perhaps a drain to heal properly.
