Fleas on ferret

Hello:
My daughter has a ferret about 8 months maybe- he is itching, and my daughter believes he has fleas from walking outside. What kind of product does she need to get for him that would be safe? She will also need to bomb her apartment- any suggestions? Thanx for the help. Jill Johnson

The only proven safe flea medication for ferrets is Advantage for Kittens, Revolution for Kittens, and Frontline for Kittens (I am wary of Frontline since some ferrets have adverse reactions).

I use Revolutions since it not only treats fleas but also treats and prevents ear mites, prevents heartworms, and deworms.

As for bombing the apartment I don't really have any suggestions since I do not bomb my home. The only advice I have is to remove everything the ferret sleeps on as well as food bowls, water bowls/bottles, and anything he eats.
