Question
Last night our dog was laying on the kitchen floor, and her entire body was shaking, she got up and could barley walk, she got into her cage and laid down, and was panting pretty heavy.  She laid there for about five to ten minutes, then got up and acted perfectly normal.  This morning she ate her breakfast, and seemed like her normal self.  Do you think it was a seizure ? She didn't foam at the mouth and she stayed alert, she wasn't unconcious. Do you think we should take her to the Vet ?  Thanks for your help in this matter.

Answer
By any chance had your dog just been vaccinated?

Yes, you should take her to the vet.  She needs a full blood panel done with special attention to the possibility of epilepsy.  Please, please don't ignore this.  Neither people or dogs "foam at the mouth" when having a seizure 'nor are they "unconscious".

And don't panic - this is all manageable with meds.  But get her to the vet.
Best of luck,
Delores
