Not very active for a puppy

Question
We got a 10 wk. old female Aussie six days ago. We have socialized her every day with people, dogs and cats every day since we got her. We even took her to the Vet just to  socialize her there. She is a wonderful dog. We are crate trainig her and she hasn't had an accident yet.
When she is with other pups she is very active, sometimes playful aggressive and sometimes playful submissive and always running. But when she is not with other pups she is very docile and "lazy", is this normal for Aussies? Some of the times while she is laying down or sitting, I see her watching anything that moves and I know that she is doing her job of protection. But sometimes, she just lays around and doesn't play and it's very hard to get her moving.
Are there any concerns?

Answer
I'm not sure if you should be concerned, since I don't know your puppy.  But, if she's only ten weeks old, and you think there is anything wrong, don't hesitate to ask your vet.  Puppies do tend to take rest periods, and they get tired, just like human babies, but there's a difference between tired and lethargic.  Can't hurt to ask if you have a concern.  If it makes you feel any better, my Aussie is a very, very active dog, but she relaxes in the house when there's nothing else going on.
