How do these dogs do outside in snowy freezing temperatures. they have a dog house but they seem to always be running in the snow.

Answer
Aussies are good all weather dogs, as they have a "wash n wear" double coat.  However, I don't advise letting any dog live outdoors in freezing temperatures, with the possible exception of Huskies or other Nordic breeds that were bred for it and prefer it.  Dogs can cut paws on ice, get frostbite, and become arthritic.  Snow is fun for Aussies, but they also need the same care and comfort that other dogs need.
