patella surgery

My blue heeler is 2 and had patella surgery in june, she still favors that leg.  I work her out and have taken breaks cause of the limping.  She is on nutritional supplements to help her knee.  How long should she be limping?

Despite the fact that she's an Aussie, that's really a question for a veterinarian.  But, be aware that there are some other modalities that can help with pain if that's the reason for the limp.  There are canine acupuncturists, hydrotherapy practitioners, etc.. so after you talk to the vet, don't be afraid to pursue some of those avenues.
