A female beagle weighing about 35-pounds -- what can I give for pain. She is about 12-years old. Thank you.

Bill, this is really a question for a veterinarian.  However, some of the pain medications for dogs, such as Rimadyl or Deramaxx, are not without danger or side effects, so do discuss that with your vet.  There are some holistic supplements that seem to address pain, but I would defer to a holistic vet to prescribe them.  Please do NOT give your dog any human medications, such as ibuprofen or Tylenol - these can do serious damage to your dog, and can even cause fatalities.  Here is a link to an article written by a vet concerning the management of pain:
