regarding behaviourial problem of my gsd

I own a german sherpherd, 12 months female, is very enthusiastic and hyper active with people from child hood, not a dangerous one, jumps over any one, never bites any one, very affectionate, alert dog, good sense of smell, likes to roam on roads, extremely uncontrollable.

Please help me out in making my dog be calm and reserve

In a nutshell, train her. To me it sounds like she is having way too much freedom (because she is friendly) to create undesirable behaviors like jumping on people, if she does not yet possess the skill to come back when called reliably then roaming on roads is not for now.
