Question
My dog is limping after his vaccination shot today. Right after the shot he was alright but when he is back home he started to give cries when he walk. Also when i touch or carry him he tend to make louder cries. Is this normal?

Answer
Hi Regina, No this is not normal. If the pain in at or near the injection site, you should take the dog back to the vet, ask what was injected there and how to treat the injury.   Also, by finding our what was injected,  you can ask  if  the dog is having  a  reaction site complication or if the dog should not have that  type of injection  the future, in case the dog is allergic to the drug. Also, you should not have to pay for a follow-up visit fee as it was not  your nor your dogs fault. Take the dog back right away. Leave me some feedback and let me know how it is going. Thanks for  writing. Regards, Susan
