aggressive behavior

we have a 2 year old neuter male german shepherd. he is extremely protective and has bit 4 people, 2 who tried to come into out yard, one who made a quick movement towards me and he nipped an uninvited child running after his ball.  he shows no aggression to the family.  we do want some aggression to people trying to enter our yard as we have a registered sex offender living beside of us and excessive night drug traffic across the street. the biting is the scary part. the last 2 bites, he gave no warning at all.

I think you might want to consider have a trainer work with you one-on-one with you and your dog.

A dog who bites is a legal liability; you can end up being sued.
