Shih Tzu pooping; additional info

Hi, This is Annette again. I don't know if this is relevant to Ava's behavior of pooping on the bed but I wanted to include this information that I forgot to add earlier with my recent question. We have a three yr old male boxer that also lives in our home and he sleeps on his bed next to my daughter's bed. Also, she does this on my daughter's bed when we're not in the room or when my daughter is sleeping in it.

She's definitely making a rank statement TO THE BOXER.  This is a normal communication between dogs: the Boxer understands it fully.  Again, no reason she has full run of the house without your supervision and observation of her.  She needs her own, safe place to sleep.  The kitchen is fine.
